42″ Philips Lcd Tv Doesnt Turn On?

ok so I just picked up this 42″ Philips LCD TV (42PFL5332D/37). It does not turn on. I was thinking its the power supply because it doesnt turn on without the buttons on side of tv or the remote. Ive tested the cord and up to the connectors to the power supply and its a consistent 120v. My question is how do I test the power supply on it? it has like 4 or 5 plugs off of it to various components of TV. Anybody that knows how or knows where I can get a manual of the power supply please let me know
