I want to use an LCD TV (42 inch) for my Monitor. What cables will I need? And is it possible to watch HD movies and content from the Internet with out an HDMI output from the computer?
You can only watch Hd content if you have a graphics card that supports HD output… If you have only a VGA output(that goes to your computer/monitor) then you must have one of those on your tv… if you have a dvi output on computer then go with a DVI to HDMI output for best quality…. if you have a S-Video out which is also sometimes Hd use that… basically VGA=good S-Video = Better and DVI=best
