Do Lcd Tv’s Take Long To Power Up. I Have A Sylvania Lc320sl8 32”?

I have to press the power button twice. The first time it blinks green for a while then turns red. I press it again then it powers on. Is this normal for LCD tv’s
Digital TVs in power saving mode may take up to 15-20 sec until you see video.
This is because all TVs have now microcontrollers that need to boot.
If you want faster start-up , go to the menu and select, if possible, a fast boot mode.
You should definitely not have to press the power button twice though, no matter which power up mode you use.
It may take a couple of seconds so it is a little longer than a regular tv
