Does Anyone Have Answers To Burn In On My Westinghouse Lcd Tv?

The input selection boxes on my 42″ westinghouse are being burned into the screen. I have a large box in the upper right corner that shows through on bright backgrounds and the smaller box in the top middle that says “No signal detected”. I am wondering if there is any fix to this or can I get it fixed under warranty? I have only owned the TV for 10 months.

LCD burn-in is usually temporary. You might try leaving the TV on with no image (black screen–tune to an unused input) overnight.

Sorry, image retention or burn in is never covered by warranty. You simply left your TV on with no signal for way too much time.
Make sure you turn-off the TV for at least 6 hrs a day, this allows the LCD crystals to reset. Depending on the amount of burn-in, if you are careful, it may go away with time.
