My husband and I just bought a 42” LG Lcd tv and it puts off alot of heat. Is this normal? The geek squad guy told us it is but he was a little weird i dont trust him so much.

LCDs will put off some heat. It shouldn’t get terribly hot like a summer day in Phoenix, but I would say between 80-90 degrees is about normal.

1/3rd less than a plasma or CRT (standard analog).
