It gets louder when the screen changes brighness. Is this normal for an lcd tv?

That is one of the transformers vibrating MORE when the TV needs more power to create a brighter picture…..
The vibration won’t affect the operation of the TV set….it won’t hurt it to run that way…..
But GOD does it drive you NUTS watching TV….
If it does drive you nuts, you should get it serviced at an Authorized Repair shop….ESPECIALLY if it’s under warranty !!! (make a copy of your purchase reciept–you’re going to need that to get it covered)
Sounds like a design problem. What brand is it? If its from walmart, or some off brand then that wouldn’t surprise me.
No its not normal. I hope its under warranty.
