I just bought a new LG 42LH30 42-Inch LCD HDTV. It’s just sitting on the table now and I want to secure it to the wall. Since I live in a rented apartment, I don’t want to put too many holes in the wall. Are there any products out there that will allow me to secure the TV to the wall without using any kind of screws?
Thank you!

The best you can do os to get an entertainment center that will allow you hang a tv from it instead of the wall here’s an example http://www.walmart.com/catalog/catalog.g…
You will need a mounting kit for the t.v. Chances are it has to anchor into the wall so there’s not much chance of having no holes.
Go to your local electronics store or the place where you bought the t.v. Tell them you want to mount it on your wall. They should want to sell you the mounting kit.
Actually they are now selling STANDS that have a wall-mount FEEL to them. Let me see if I can find you an example….http://www.tvstands.com/Walker-Edison-V4…http://www.tvstands.com/Z-Line-Designs-Z…
And of course, I save the best for last….http://www.tvstands.com/Plasma-LCD-TV-St…
There’s the solution to your dilemma, because Duct Tape and 3M removable hangers just don’t cut it…
All wall mounts that I know of require screws to be driven into the wall studs. I’m sure you don’t want to use any adhesives on your TV or the rented wall. Most wall mounts require 4 good size screws and you’re done. Fill in the holes with spackle when you move!
no, none of the products will be able to hold that much weight.
put some holes in the walls. when you move out you can just use some cocking or plaster of paris to fill in the holes, they are going to be doing touch-up work anyways.
No way – you need to make holes in the wall to wall mount a TV. If you are careful and handy, you can always fill in and paint over the holes when you move out.
duct tape a midget to the wall and have him hold it.
Absolutely not. Don’t even try it. Mounting the tv should only require two bolts. Once you move out they will be very easy to conceal using some spackle and a little paint.
No.
There are some pole systems that will give a similar look, check IKEA.
u really cant….u have to get a wall mount..and they will require screws…
