How To Hook My Tv Up To A Stereo?

My fiancee has a Sony stereo that he recently bought and I just got a Samsung 32″ lcd tv and we would like to listen to the tv through the stereo. The stereo has a “PC IN” jack on it. We plugged my laptop into the tv to watch dvds. So what’s the cable that I need to hook my laptop up to the stereo?? There is no red white and yellow cable hook-ups!! Help!!

Jessica stated that there were no RCA (red, white, yellow) inputs on the stereo.
You will need a male 3.5mm to male 3.5mm stereo cable.

You will need a 3.5mm stereo to RCA cable. From the laptap out (headphone) to an input channel in the stereo.
