I Have A Philips Lcd Tv 42pfl3603d 42″ Full Hd 1080p With Pixel Plus Hd?

The screen keeps going black for some reason. Whether its on for 5 minutes or an hour. I’ve tried unplugging it for 15 seconds and recycling like advised but it’s still happening. The tv stays on because the light stays on just the tv goes black. Anyone had this happen or know of a solution? I haven’t sent in the warranty yet but will soon. Just wondering if there was a simple fixing i’m just not getting. Also the sleeptimer is not on. Is there a way to reset to default settings?

Well you can try reseting the TV by going into the set up menu. Or your Tv have problems that need to be fixed. Mainly its the boards problem. Or your LCD has problems. Try going back to the store or call or contact Philips.

Yes, you can go into your TV settings and try resetting it. Hopefully this will fix the problem … if not then it sounds like it’s eternal and hopefully it’s still covered under warranty !!

I have nothing more to offer. I think you’ve done all you can do. I only clicked on the question because your picture is so sexy. Perhaps I could come over to take a look at this troublesome TV?
