Is It Possible To Get Some Money From My Broken Tv?

I have a Sony 32″ LCD TV (model number KDL-32S2000) that has a cracked screen. To repair it would cost upward of $1,000. I have another television that I am using at the moment but I would like to get some of the money from my old TV back. Would it be possible to sell it for parts? It works fine except for the broken screen. Thanks in advance for the answers.
Doubtful, improbable, impossible, your LCD is toast. The only way you can get money it is to try to find someone with the same exact model somewhere where something other than the glass is the problem. Such as bad backlight, or shot driver board you can sell out of yours. You may find someone who needs parts, your not going to recoup any real money out of it though, brand new 32” LCD’s are cheap these days. (in other words good fu#*’ing luck!)
