My lcd tv is 32 inch and has a faint pixel line from top to bottom, this dosen’t bother me in the slightest as I hardly ever watch tv anyway.
Is it on it’s way out?

Unfortunately it is a sometimes slow sometimes fast chain of events that will kill your television. If the pixel line doesn’t bother you then ride it till it dies. As far as replacing the screen. Well, you could buy another for the same price to replace. It sometimes starts with just one pixel but the inevitable is a dead screen with sound. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but just think, I could last for a good long time. Good Luck.
