If they are horizontal lines that scroll up your T.V. they are called ” hum bars” this is due to a ground loop issue. I am having the same problem with my T.V I have tried several different ways of hooking up the cable as I only have the problem when the T.V is getting video signal through the component cables supplied through Time Warner. I have even went back to the store and exchanged the T.V once.I have it hooked up through the cable box with a HDMI cable right now and don’t have the problem. It is either the component cable or a grounding issue with the T.V’s component input where it is connected to the circuit board.
