i just bought the samsung 32″ lcd tv from samsung for xmas and there’s no screws to assemble the stand to the tv so i phoned samsung and they told me they cant do nothing about it so am trying to find a place were i can buy them.

Yes you should be able to use your TV as your monitor. Depending on the TV, you can either hook it up using a regular PC monitor cable, or an adapter.
