It depends what you want to use it for.
Video games or PC-LCD
Fast pace images (Racing games, Sports, Action Movies) or Home Theater- Plasma
I own both but use my Plasma for everything because they hands down have a better picture. The only LCDs that have as good a picture as the same size plasma cost 30%-50% more than the plasma. The picture on the plasma will “dim” after 3-4 years, but it will only reduce to the quality of the LCD for the same cost.

You can always trust Sony. You can’t go wrong. But If you’re going flat panel, plasmas (although the same as LCD are expensive to repair if pixels go) usually last longer. Definetly go Sony though.

Strangely, K -Mart has a Martha Stewart bookcase that is about 5′ tall & holds up to a 42″ unit. The bookcase also doubles as a place for the dvd player and media.

In mid Jan 08, I purchased a new 42′ JVC LCD tv. I was unable to connect it immediately to cable bc I was just moving into my new place. I finally got it installed mid feb. After the very first day I realized the tv wasnt working( screen freezing, lines,etc) at which time I contacted Jvc. They sent a tech to pick it up. They kept the tv 3 weeks only to return it and say nothing was wrong and it had to be a cable issue. This was at the end of March. I then cotacted my cable co. They completely rewired my whole house. hooked up the tv to only have the same problem. i contacted the tech again to be told they could only service the tv once every 30 days. I then cotacted Jvc once again… to make a long story short the tech has the tv… I bought it in Jan and havent been able to watch it. Im a very unhappy customer. How can I handle this. I dont even want the tv now.

I’m Confused About Choosing The Best Lcd Tv.choice Is Either Sony(v Series)32″ Or Samsung32″(4 Series)..!?

Both Lcd’s are same in pixels, but what I personally feel is Samsung looks smart n elegant in design, but Sony is not that appealing..But then Sony is the leader in TV’s.Only difference between the two is that Samsung has an USB port.Difference between the two, in pricewise is just Rs.2,000…please help me choose wisely..!
