12″ X 5″ Black Square On Center Of Lcd Tv? Help?

I just bought an LG 32″ LCD flat screen HDTV and just using it for 2 days, randomly, I’ll get a huge size solid black square in the center of the TV. Is this a problem with TV??? I only have 5 days to return products,, please advise if this is normal.

im using a Panasonic TX-32LX700MK 32″ LCD TV..u know when i watch movies (dvd or blu-ray) when dark scenes changes to bright scenes (or vice-versa), i can see the transition is very slow..is this normal ?

I have a Nvidia fx 5500 graphics card, and I’m using a 42 inch full 1080 p tv max resolution 1920×1080 as my monitor. when I set the resolution above 1600×1024 the screen goes black and reverts back to last setting. I have tried bumping up refresh rate to 85 hertz but it dosent help.
