I have a samsung 32 inch LCD tv. I connected my computer to it via dvi. Media centre looks great but I cant get any other program to look good as for the resolution is under 1280×720. does anyone now any drivers i can use or anything else that can help?

LCDs are generally better and cheaper if you are looking for something under 42″ or so. Plasmas are better for over 42″, and at 42″ the two are pretty comparable. Plasmas will give you better black levels than a LCD will, while LCDs are capable of much better resolution than most plasmas are.
