I Need A Pcie Video Card That Can Drive A 32″-37″ Lcd Hdtv. I Will Mostly Be Watching Movies And Tv Shows.

I am buying a 32-37 inch TV and want to use it as a monitor, but I need a more powerful video card. What should I look for, I dont want to spend too much on it. What do you think?

If I’m sending the laptop video output to my TV with a VGA cable, will the quality of the video card affect the quality of the video I see on the TV? Specifically, I want to watch movies on my laptop, but send the video to my 32″ LCD TV.
