Is This A Stuck Pixel Or A Dead Pixel On My Lcd Tv?

i have a philips 42 inch 1080p lcd tv.
but i see a single green pixel that never changes….you can see the green pixel better when the rest of the screen is black. is this a dead pixel or a stuck pixel? i know that dead pixels are impossible to fix but how can you fix stuck pixels? and this is not a computer monitor….it’s a tv. thanks a lot!

My lcd tv is 32 inch and has a faint pixel line from top to bottom, this dosen’t bother me in the slightest as I hardly ever watch tv anyway.
Is it on it’s way out?

The screen keeps going black for some reason. Whether its on for 5 minutes or an hour. I’ve tried unplugging it for 15 seconds and recycling like advised but it’s still happening. The tv stays on because the light stays on just the tv goes black. Anyone had this happen or know of a solution? I haven’t sent in the warranty yet but will soon. Just wondering if there was a simple fixing i’m just not getting. Also the sleeptimer is not on. Is there a way to reset to default settings?

When I play games on my TV, i can see several dark lines that are in the background. Is this due to the connection, or is it the TV’s fault? I am using a OEM HDMI cable for my playstation 3, not the official problem, so could this be the cause – using a crappy HDMI cable?

I’m currently in the market for a 32 inch LCD TV. (I’m not much of an expert.) I’ve heard that having a TV with a 720p pixel resolution under 1820i broadcasting (which most channels have) can cause poor scaling and may not have the best picture quality. So, I assumed it would be in my best interest to buy a TV with a 1820i pixel resolution. However, I also heard that 32 inch LCD TVs show no difference between 720p and 1820i pixel resolutions. Are those two statements both right or does one outweigh the other? Should I buy a cheaper 32″ TV with a 720p pixel resolution or a more expensive 32″ TV with a 1820i pixel resolution?
