My Brand New Tv Gets Less Reception Than My Old One, But With The Same Antenna?

I just got a new TV (a 32″ Vizio LCD), and I plugged my rooftop antenna into it. After it scanned all of the channels and found the few digital ones I receive here, I flipped through the channels and see that for some reason, the reception is HORRIBLE compared to my old “tube” TV. Doesn’t the reception have to do with the antenna, not the TV? Why is it that getting this new TV affects my signal so much?

Is A 32 Inch Nearly The Same As A 37 Inch Tv?

I’ve been looking for a new LCD TV – 37 inch – for this Xmas. For the past few days, apparently one can find many 32inch TV on promotion, while I couldn’t find any decent deals for 37”.
I was wondering if I can compromise by buying a 32”, or for that matter, a 40”. Do you think for an average living room, these sizes are nearly the same – although I know for sure that 37” is the best given the distance from my sofa.

I tested out 720p movie on a vizio 42″ LCD TV first. using HDMI ofcourse.
looks stunning. the way it should be.
than I took the same set up to 42″ LCD LG tv set.(HDMI as well)
I turned it on and I was in for shock. LG actually didnt look that great for 720p at all. as if I was watching it on 480p DVD or something. why is this? I don’t even think its the calibration since it didnt even have that CLEAR LOOK that blurays usually have. do you thin its the calibration of the TV or what????

Im Looking To Buy A Cheap 42 Inch Lcd Or Plasma Tv And I Saw A Few. The Quality Is The Same.?

i saw the Maxent mx- 42hpt51. at costco for $849 . the quaity is basically the same as the more expensive ones, but will it be reliable or does it break right when the warranty runs out?
anyone bought this tv at costco or could give me any reviews??

LCD TV and Computer to work at the same time?
The lcd tv (Acer 42”) does not show the icons on the computer (Dell media centre edition) monitor though both are connected by VGA. The resolution for LCD I am using is 1360 x 780 whereas for computer is 800 x 600. It does indentify as monitor 1 and monitor 2 correctly. Any suggestions to how to get this fixed.
