Im looking for a 32″ TV for my bedroom and a 50″ TV for the living room and i heard that the bulbs in the LCD tv’s go out in about 2 yrs and the warranty doesnt cover it soooo even though the Panasonic needs recharged every so often its actually better to buy it.

LCD FLAT PANEL TVS do not use the replaceable lamps…PROJECTION LCD and DLPs do.
Keep that in mind…
Panasonic Plasmas are the most reliable, well built plasmas around, with a good company supporting it.
With LCD Flat Panel TV sets, you can choose SONY (better electronics/engineering) or Samsung (another good choice, slightly less than Sony’s)
Yeah, that is quite the question. LCD do not have bulbs & and do not get recharged. It’s not a flashlight. It’s a TV and LCD’s & plasma’s these days have a life of 5-10 years easy. LCD’s usually offer a brighter picture and screen is great for room with a lot of light….less reflective screen than plasma’s (although some plasma’s now have great anti-reflective screen, like Pioneer’s Kuro). Plasma’s often offers better blacks, which makes your picture pop even more. Panasonic & Pioneer’s make really great plasma’s. If you’re going for an LCD, Samsung, Sony & Sharp of viable options. Do yourself a favor and go on cnet.com to do some research on tv’s. You can even click the link for “best hdtv’s” and it’ll give you the list and often the retail price of the particular tv. Good luck!

Oh boy…is it colder in the winter or New York City?
Panasonic is a brand of TVs. LCD is a type. Panasonic makes LCD TVs as well as plasma ones. And they don’t have “bulbs”. And you don’t recharge a TV.
I don’t know what to tell you. You have a lot to learn. And do you know how much a 50″ plasma TV costs?
LCD tv is the way to go.They are not burn-in and last longer.
