you didn’t mention which samsung model..The Sony ‘S’ series is not good…the only thing sony on it is the nameplate. It is made to compete
with off-brand tv’s like Vizio, and such…it is made simply to achieve a price point. The only good sony at 32″ is xbr9 model. Samsung good models 32b450/32b550.

There are quite a few 32inch samsung models. The one that is closest to the sony s series is the 360 model. If I had to choose between those two I would choose the Sony. This year for whatever reason Samsung seems to be having reliability issues more then in the past. I sell these things all day long. They are about equal in every way so I would go with the one that is not breaking down as much. You really can not go wrong either way though.
