Will Leaving My Windows Desktop Screen On My Tv Burn It Into The Screen?

It says in the manual for my new Samsung 32 ich LCD TV Series 3 model 350 (give most info possible!) that leaving something on the screen for 2 hours or longer may cause it to burn in. But this doesn’t happen on our LCD monitors so could it really happen on my TV?
Thanks!!!

Theoretically, LCD displays are not subject to image burn-in. But I see 2 problems: (1) If Samsung is telling you not to do that, they must know something that you don’t, so why risk it? And (2), why would you want to leave a 32-inch HDTV turned on for two-plus hours without watching (using) it? That’s a waste of a.c. power, and worse, you’ve just burned two hours off the fluorescent tube that illuminates the display, and they don’t last forever.
